Those numbers look kind of bleak for the Phillies offense tonight. With only six hits, three of them coming from the same guy, against him in their collective careers, it's clear that he's an effective pitcher against the lineup. He's pretty tough against lefties, so hopefully Utley and Howard can hang in there, stay patient and poke in some singles. Feliz has a chance to be good tonight.

A couple days ago, the Phillies added Steve Kline on a minor league deal. He's going to report to Lehigh Valley, and he could earn a promotion if he pitches well for the Iron Pigs. If he does come up, he'll become a situational lefty, but lately, his splits against lefties have declined, and he's not as good as he used to be.
