It was a relief to finally get the first win of the season, but the Phillies can't count on winning games like that too often. The defense was awful, the pitching couldn't do diddley-poo, and the bats didn't plate runners in scoring position late in the game. It's great that they were able to make some plays in the end, but they have to clean up the sloppy play in the field.

Fortunately for them, they leave Philadelphia for another launching pad. Not only that, if you look at the lines for guys like Jenkins and Feliz, the Phillies have some hitters that have hit Josh Fogg pretty hard. If Kendrick keeps the ball low and doesn't let big bats like Griffey and Dunn take him deep, these two teams could be even at 2-2 after tonight's game.
