The Phillies have not won a series in Pittsburgh since June of 2001. Here are some facts about that series. Brandon Arroyo won game two for Pittsburgh. There were only two current Phillies to appear in the series clinching game on June 21st: Jimmy Rollins and Pat Burrell. Only four other players to appear for the Phillies are still active: Bobby Abreu, Scott Rolen, Marlon Anderson and Johnny Estrada. Abraham Nunez led off playing SS for Pittsburgh. The middle of their order was Jason Kendall at C, Brian Giles in CF, and Aramis Ramirez playing 3B. That was a long time ago.

Now that they've managed to get above .500 for the second time, it's time to stay there. They need to take a couple games in this series and then come back to Philadelphia for a nice homestand. Hopefully Ryan Howard can get his head cleared and start swinging the bat better than he is.
